Sunday Dinner

For some, Sunday dinner is just dinner. Eat, clean up and find a good TV show to watch and relax. But, for us, we use it as an opportunity to cook up meals that are more involved since we don't have much time on week nights.

This Sunday, despite the chilly temps outdoors, we couldn't resist firing up the grill for some good ol' shish kabobs. We're pros at eating them, but, we've never prepped and cooked them ourselves. While there are countless ways to stack your skewers, we chose the following:

Chicken
Shrimp
Green Pepper
Tomato
Onion
Zucchini

We marinated all of it using low fat italian dressing. Not to toot our own horn, but for some shish kabob rooks, we did a pretty good job!

We'd love to hear, how do you season and marinate your meats and veggies? Which types of foods do you stack your skewers with?
